Neighborly, a swanky multi-restaurant food hall and marketplace that debuted in Westlake Village at the end of 2024, expands to Brentwood with a new location opening Friday, April 3. Set in the former midcentury light–filled home of Planta, the new Neighborly brings wraps from celebrated Glendale kebab stand Mini Kabob, gluten-free tenders from Questlove’s Mixtape, Sicilian pizza from Palermo Pizza Club, salad in all forms from What’s Gaby Cooking, and an array of market goods to the neighborhood.

Neighborly comes from a team of industry veterans, including Mendocino Farms’ Mario Del Pero. In contrast to Los Angeles’s pervasive ghost kitchens built for delivery and takeout, Neighborly welcomes dine-in guests at both of its locations. In Brentwood, visitors can order from any of the restaurants’ menus at one of the three ordering screens or at the bar. Alongside the made-to-order dishes, Neighborly’s marketplace offers pre-packaged chipotle chicken breast, La Palma burrito boxes, frozen pizzas from La Morra, and saucy chicken Parmesan.

At Neighborly Brentwood, Mini Kabob expands on its Glendale offerings with a lavash wrap filled with shirazi salad, toum, and a choice of protein like marinated steak or chicken thigh; Mama Alva’s Plate with hummus or tzatziki, rice or ancient grains, shirazi salad, and a choice of protein; and a kid’s lavash wrap with melted cheese. At Mixtape, Questlove’s take on a classic burger joint, find a gluten-free crispy chicken sandwich on a homemade gluten-free brioche bun, the OGB Cheese Burger with a chicken patty and American cheese, and a Better Tender Box Set with gluten-free tenders and waffle fries. For dessert, Mixtape serves “Saturdaes,” its take on the sundae; choose between dairy-free, coconut-inflected soft serve topped with a choice of strawberries and oat streusel, toffee candied peanuts and salted caramel, and brownies with almond brittle.

Author and cooking influencer Gaby Dalkin is behind Gaby’s; the menu offers seasonal California fare such as a Caesar avocado wrap with crispy chicken breast, a prosciutto and burrata sandwich on toasted ciabatta, a Chinese chicken salad dressed with miso vinaigrette, and a sesame ginger teriyaki bowl with diner’s choice of teriyaki chicken or mushrooms. Frank Pinello, a New York–native and founder of Brooklyn’s acclaimed Best Pizza, joins the lineup with Palermo Pizza Club. On the menu, find Sicilian pizzas made with 48-hour fermented dough like the Queen Margherita with fior di latte or the Chicken Parm Pie with a breaded chicken cutlet, alongside rigatoni alla vodka, Caesar salad, and kid’s cheese pizza.

Beginning April 3, Neighborly Brentwood will operate from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, and offers dine-in, takeout, and delivery.

Neighborly Brentwood is located at 11754 San Vicente Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90049.
