(FOX40.COM) — A Sacramento woman was one of three killed in a head-on crash in Napa Valley on March 28.

Katrina Clarke, 65, of Sacramento, was killed in the Saturday morning crash on Silverado Trail in unincorporated Napa County, the Napa County District Attorney announced Wednesday. Vivian Bertolino, 65, of Napa, and Linda Wolters, 62, of Napa, were also killed.

The driver believed to be responsible for the crash, identified as 68-year-old William Dene Brumley, has been charged with DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.

Six others were injured, including Brumley, who was later arrested at the hospital.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Mitsubishi sedan driven by Brumley was traveling south on Silverado Trail at 11:57 a.m. Saturday, when it sideswiped a BMW SUV headed the opposite way. Brumley’s vehicle lost control and crashed head-on into a Toyota sedan directly behind the BMW.

The four occupants in the Toyota were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where one later died.

One passenger in Brumley’s vehicle died at the scene. A second passenger later died at a hospital.

The road was closed for six hours as investigators processed the scene.

The case remains under investigation.
