Two people were arrested after police discovered around $1 million worth of stolen merchandise in a massive Los Angeles County retail theft bust.

Following a multi-agency investigation, on April 1, authorities executed search warrants at several properties in North Hills, West Los Angeles, Sunland and Van Nuys.

The suspects, Hannah Noto, 25, of North Hills, and Jude Bigay, 26, of Sunland, reportedly admitted to defrauding multiple clothing companies through an e-commerce scheme.

Once they received the merchandise, they’re accused of selling the items on Whatnot, a popular live-streaming shopping platform.

Photos of the bust showed large pallets filled with clothing, tools, household electronics and accessories from brands such as SKIMS, ALO, Dyson, Ninja, Milwaukee, Duracell, Ariat, EDIKTED and more. The value of the stolen goods was estimated at $1 million.

Both Noto and Bigay were arrested for receiving stolen property and booked at the Van Nuys Jail.

“This case underscores the importance of interagency collaboration in combating large-scale cargo theft and preserving the integrity of commercial supply chains,” LAPD said. “The investigation is ongoing, and further arrests are expected.”

Detectives from LAPD’s Commercial Crimes Division – Cargo Theft Task Force collaborated with multiple agencies, including the Union Pacific Railroad Police, BNSF Police, Los Angeles World Airport Police, Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and HSI’s Cargo Theft Group.
