FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Three teens were stabbed after a fight broke out at the River Park Shopping Center.
According to Fresno police, around 10 p.m. on Thursday, a fight broke out between a group of approximately 10 teens just outside the Regal theater.
Three of the teenagers, two boys and one girl, were stabbed in the torso.
Officers say they found one of the victims in front of the theater. The other two victims were able to get into a vehicle and were taken to a corner on Blackstone and Nees Avenues, where they called 911.
One of the boys was taken to the hospital with severe injuries and is undergoing surgery.
The other two victims are expected to live.
Officers have detained two other teenagers, but they have not been arrested. Their ages range from 13 to 15 years.
The rest of the teens involved in the fight fled the scene.
Officers say a bystander who witnessed the fight was also punched.
It is unknown what exactly was used in the stabbings and if it was gang-related.
