LBI Distilling, which is Long Beach Island’s first craft distillery, is opening today in Beach Haven.

The family-run operation is producing vodka, gin and rum on-site at 1305 Long Beach Blvd., according to the distillery’s social media page.

Drinks are served with house-made mixers at the distillery’s tasting room.

There is a downstairs lounge with a quieter setting to grab a drink and an upstairs room designed for music and dancing, according to the business website.

The distillery features the gluten-free Cool Vibes Vodka, Shark Fin Gin, a craft gin with citrus and a hint of vanilla flavor, and Rudderless Rum, a craft rum with notes of vanilla and caramel.

The distillery also offers cocktails like a Seasonal Espresso Martini made with cool vibes vodka, rudderless rum, coffee, espresso and vanilla syrup. The Thundering Surf includes Cool Vibes Vodka, lemonade, fresh blueberries, fresh lemon juice and club soda, according to the website.

They feature drinks made from Shark Fin Gin, like the Seaside Spritz, Casino Royale, Shark Fin Fizz and Bees Knees.

LBI Distilling is open 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 3 and from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 4.

Live music is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday with performer John Steinhauer.

Guests can bring their own snacks for now, according to the business website.

The distillery plans to add outdoor spaces in the future and is developing a bourbon set to debut this summer.
