Sacramento deputies find loaded guns, marijuana, and cash in traffic stop

(FOX40.COM) — North Patrol Deputies with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle, leading to guns, drugs, and cash being seized.

The driver threw his keys to his girlfriend while being detained and told her to run, officials said.

A search of the vehicle led to a loaded handgun, a large quantity of marijuana products and multiple loaded magazines, according to SCSO.

Later, a search warrant for the man’s residence revealed several firearms, some of which were modified. The agency said the search also turned up vape pens, wax cartridges, “oodles” of marijuana, additional marijuana/sales contraband, psilocybin mushrooms and over $24,000 in cash.
