FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — A man has been hospitalized after a tractor fire on Monday morning in Fresno County.
CAL FIRE says they were called out around 8:30 a.m. for a tractor engulfed in flames.
Initial investigation shows that a worker was using the tractor to level dirt when it caught fire.
Witnesses also say they saw smoke coming from under the tractor.
The operator was able to climb out of the window and escape.
He was transported to the hospital in the burn unit for burns throughout his body.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
