The Strokes are warming up for their appearances at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival over the next two weekends in Indio, California. Like many of the other acts that usually means a show or two at smaller, more intimate venues. They also took the time to reveal their first album in six years, “Reality Awaits.”
The Strokes played a gig on April 4 at the Warfield in San Francisco. That venue holds less than 2,500 so the folks who got in were lucky to see the great band at work as opposed to playing to the massive throngs at Coachella.
