An investigation is underway after a reported shooting on Interstate 80 in West Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, one vehicle shot another vehicle near the I-80 split, west of Enterprise around 2:15 p.m.
West Sacramento Police said both the victim’s and suspect’s cars left the freeway into West Sacramento, however the suspect’s car was stopped on Jefferson Boulevard, south of the City of West Sacramento city limits. CHP said the suspect was detained.
The California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation since it happened within their jurisdiction.
