SAN ANTONIO – Months after admitting to an affair with a former staffer, U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales faces new allegations of inappropriate conduct with other members of his team.
The San Antonio Express-News reported new evidence suggesting Gonzales sent explicit messages to more than one employee.
Earlier this year, he admitted to an affair with Regina Santos Aviles, a former staff member. That relationship became public following her death by suicide last fall; however, Gonzales has repeatedly stated that her death was unrelated to their relationship.

Gonzales, who recently withdrew from a runoff election for his House seat, is now the subject of a new report featuring message screenshots from 2020, that appear to be between Gonzales and his former political director, who told the Express-News that he asked her for nude photos on several occasions.
The former staffer said she never did, but alleged that Gonzales continued to pressure her to make their professional relationship sexual.
