Often, our lunchtimes are musical, thanks to our playlists and headphones, but in Downtown Los Angeles musicians will gather each Tuesday over the next few weeks to treat onlookers and onlisteners to a pop-up concert.
Lunchtime Concerts at Colburn are a pay-nothing gift, cultural splendor that will last for an hour, starting at noon, on April 7. The spot? Head for the Colburn Plaza at 200 Grand Avenue.
There are a few to come — the series wraps May 5 — and dance performances may add to the uplifting presentations.
The Colburn School is intent on “… offering an accessible way to experience high quality arts programming in the heart of the city” over the next few Tuesdays.
