CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — A new newspaper, the Clovis Times, will replace the Clovis Roundup after it closed.
The Clovis Roundup Community Newspaper closed after the owner suffered from health issues.
The last post from the newspaper was back in February.
The Round Up was established in 2009 by Veteran Marine Kenny Melchor and his wife Donna, which became an award-winning biweekly community newspaper.
It replaced the Clovis Independent, which closed in 2008.
The Clovis Times was established by Terry Wild, who has been part of the publishing business for 50 years.
The first issue will be out on May 1st.
The website is set to be active on April 13th.
The newspaper plans to print once a month, then grow to biweekly.
