(KRON) — A fire at a multi-unit residential building Tuesday night displaced residents from more than a dozen units and left at least one cat dead, according to fire officials.
Calls came in around 7:50 p.m., and the first crews arrived on scene at 7:52 p.m. The fire was reported in the 200 block of Fairmont Avenue, where the initial call indicated flames on an upper floor with possible people trapped inside.

Firefighters located the blaze inside a 66-unit building that is divided into two sections. The fire impacted four units, officials said.
Between 11 and 12 units were displaced due to fire, water or smoke damage.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
