Bucket Listers is bringing back the magic of the school book fair with a 21+ upgrade. Launching this summer in Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles, the Boozy Book Fair is a limited-time, pop-up experience that transforms childhood nostalgia into a lively, adults-only celebration of books, beverages, and days gone by.

Remember the thrill of circling your newest must-haves, being first in line for your class visit, or catching your first glimpse of those iconic aluminum mobile shelves? In short, it was a one way ticket into an afternoon of posters, paperbacks, and endless possibilities. The Boozy Book Fair reimagines that feeling for adults, chock full of interactive moments designed to transport guests straight back to Grade School. 

This isn’t your typical school library—start each journey by grabbing a handy scantron sheet, selecting a drink of choice (crafted cocktails, beer, wine, and mocktails), while browsing the bevy of literary options along the way. Each location will feature vibrant shelves stocked with everything from cult-classics and banned books to quirky giftables, pagemarks, and literary merch.

Designed as a social and sensory experience, the event blends literature, libations, games, photo installations, and nods to childhood book culture throughout. Planned speciality activities include: Drunk Spelling Bees, Lecture Nights, Read The Wine Print Book Club, oversized Lisa Frank esque photo backdrops, life-sized I-Spy and Stereogram walls, interactive cup stacking stations, and more. Leave with a secretly wrapped title when any previously owned book is brought in to exchange, all genres are welcome. 

Ticket details, pricing, and specific venue locations will vary by city and are available through Bucket Listers. Each ticket also includes a welcome cocktail/mocktail and $5 of merchandise credit to purchase throwback knick knacks or wiggly pencils.
