SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Padres are set to unveil their latest City Connect uniforms Thursday morning, with anticipation building among fans ahead of the official release.
The team has not yet confirmed the design details, but a short teaser video shared by the Padres suggests a potential theme. Full details are expected when the uniforms are revealed Thursday morning.
In conjunction with the launch, the Padres Team Store at Petco Park is opening early at 8 a.m. on both Thursday and Friday, giving fans an opportunity to purchase the new merchandise as it becomes available.
City Connect uniforms, introduced by Major League Baseball in partnership with Nike, are designed to reflect each team’s local culture and identity. The Padres’ previous City Connect jerseys, introduced in 2022, featured bright pink, mint, and yellow accents inspired by Baja California and the region’s binational identity.
The team is expected to wear the new uniforms on the field for the first time Friday. The debut coincides with the start of the Padres’ “City Connect Friday” promotion, which includes a pregame “Party in the Park” event at Gallagher Square beginning at 3:30 p.m., featuring live music, discounted drinks, and access to the new gear.
Further details about the uniforms, including their official design inspiration, will be confirmed during the scheduled unveiling.
