BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is searching for a man accused of allegedly assaulting two elderly victims in downtown Bakersfield last month.

Police said the assault happened on March 8 in the 600 block of Truxtun Avenue.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s wearing a red sweater, gray pants and a black skull cap.

According to BPD, the assault began after the suspect was seen not following the rules and being impolite.
