BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a suspect involved with a vehicle theft and embezzlement case.
On Monday, March 23, the suspect rented a U-Haul truck through an online application form and as of Thursday, April 9, the vehicle has not been returned.

To rent the truck, the suspect provided a copy of a California driver’s license and a still photograph of herself, but the City’s investigation found that the suspect used another person’s identity to rent the U-Haul.
The suspect is described as a white female adult, between 20 and 25 years old, with brown hair. She was wearing a gray T-shirt in the driver’s license she submitted to rent the truck.
