CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — Two men have been arrested in connection to a robbery at the Clovis Post Office earlier this year.

According to the Clovis Police Department, the robbery happened just after 5 p.m. on Feb. 10, 2026.

Police say the men targeted a Postal Service employee and fled with boxes of stolen mail in a dark-colored car.

No weapons were used, and no injuries were reported.

Over the past two months, Clovis police detectives worked with several agencies to track down those responsible.

The investigation led officers to Los Angeles, where they served a search warrant at a home and recovered more than 200 pieces of stolen mail from across the state.

Police arrested 24-year-old Tsaj Peters and 23-year-old Nelson Cruz.

Both are now facing robbery and conspiracy charges.

The Clovis Police Department credited the Los Angeles Police Department Metropolitan Crime Impact Team/ATF Taskforce and the United States Postal Inspection Service for assisting in the investigation.

The investigation remains underway
