To help students relax and take a break from the stress of school, the San Diego City College Veterans Office will be hosting Goat Yoga on April 9.

Chenne Underwood, a City College student, plans to attend Goat Yoga and is looking forward to the new experience.

“School can be very overwhelming and this year I wanted to get a lot of outlets,” Underwood said.

There will be two sessions available for students to attend. 

The first session will be from 10:30-11 a.m. The second session will be from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

The sessions will be located at A Building Patio and students are encouraged to RSVP

Witnessing Palestine: A Photography Exhibit, April 9

This exhibition will be a collective of photographs from the Library of Congress, Gary Fields, The American Federation of Teachers Guild and City students. 

A gallery reception will be from 4-7 p.m on Thursday at the Luxe Gallery, and the exhibit will be on display until May 1. 

Joshua White Jazz 88.3 KSDS Studio Sessions at City College, April 10

City’s Jazz station will be presenting a live-streamed performance by Joshua White in the City College Recording Studio on Friday from 7-8 p.m. 

White is a pianist and composer whose work blends Black African musical traditions with classical music.

Studio tickets are $30 for the live performance inside City’s Studio. A free live stream is available on YouTube for students to listen to as well.
