Re “La Jolla secession proponents must be countered” (April 5): Instead of trying to stop La Jolla from incorporating into its own city, why not try to understand why it would want to secede in the first place?
Easy answer: The city of San Diego has horrible leadership and La Jolla directly suffers from it.
End of story. Why would a beautiful place like La Jolla want to stay married to an abusive spouse?
