FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A former operations manager for the Fresno Arts Council has been identified in a federal embezzlement case involving nearly $1.8 million.

According to federal court documents, Suliana Caldwell has reached a deal with prosecutors and admitted to embezzling the funds from the nonprofit.

Under the agreement, Caldwell will plead guilty to one count of wire fraud and pay restitution of up to $1.8 million.
