EAST BAY, CA — After posting images on Facebook asking for help identifying a couple caught on camera burglarizing a Walnut Creek home, police have arrested two suspects.
Walnut Creek Police identified them as Jeremy Arellano, 36, of Concord and Rae Mones, 47, of Oakland .
They were arrested in connection with the Sept. 25 residential burglary at Perada Drive and Citrus Avenue. On Oct. 16, the Walnut Creek Police Department posted an image on Facebook showing a man with a mustache, beard, and partially shaved hair, next to a dark-haired woman, both apparently looking upward at the camera recording them. They were identified Oct. 21 and arrested on the same day, Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office jail records show.
Mones is being held in the West County Detention Facility on $51,500 bail. She is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 4 on charges of burglary filed by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office, according to records.
Arellano’s records were not immediately available.
