STOCKTON, Calif. — UC Davis beach volleyball wrapped up the Saturday doubleheader on Apr. 11 with back-to-back 4-1 victories over San Jose State and in Big West conference play against Cal State Bakersfield.

THE RALLY
The Aggies gutted out their win over the Spartans, clinching a three-set victory on the fifth court with Martin and Berard to ultimately take the victory.
The team was also close in their two losing sets, going to extras (past 21 points) in three of four sets across the two games to stay competitive.
Martin and Berard took their opponent to the distance on court five against the Roadrunners, edging out a 25-23 win in the first to extend the match to a third.
The pair fought hard in the third before ultimately taking the 15-11 win to secure the 4-1 team victory and the Saturday sweep.
