SAN DIEGO — Fleet Week San Diego is returning this year as it celebrates the 250th birthday of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps and honors the region’s service members.
Despite the ongoing government shutdown, which has canceled the “Meet the Fleet at 32nd Street” public event, a San Diego Fleet Week event previously scheduled for Nov. 1, other public events will be held from Oct. 30 to Nov. 9, ranging from the Military & Veteran Appreciation Concert to a 5K Race and Family Walk.
