Parking lot worker stabbed in head in downtown San Diego

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego Police Department confirmed a person in downtown San Diego was stabbed in the head around 3:42 p.m. on Sunday.

According to SDPD, the stabbing happened near K Street and 13th Street. Crews arrived at the scene, and the victim was reportedly transferred to a local hospital. No details have been confirmed on their status.

The stabbing reportedly happened near the Ace Parking lot, also referred to as the Tailgate Padres Parking Lot. An employee of the lot told FOX 5/KUSI that the victim of the stabbing was also an employee of the lot.

SDPD says a subject is in custody.
