OAKLAND — Prosecutors dismissed charges against a man who was accused of trafficking two teen girls, though the defendant was sentenced to prison for domestic violence in an unrelated case, court records show.
On Feb. 10, Terrell Williams, 21, was sentenced to four years in state prison for domestic violence and criminal threats charges in a case involving a onetime romantic partner. That same day, Alameda County prosecutors threw out human trafficking, rape and pandering charges involving the two girls, court records show.
Williams was charged in the trafficking case last December, after the two alleged victims ran away from their group home and were found at an Oakland hotel. One of the girls later claimed that Williams sexually abused her and that she watched him “have sexual intercourse with two other juvenile females,” police said in court filings.
In the domestic violence case, Williams was charged with eight crimes but six of them were dismissed through the plea deal, court records show.
