HANFORD, Calif. (KFSN) — A motorcyclist is dead following a crash in Hanford.
The California Highway Patrol says it happened just before midnight Sunday in the area of Houston Avenue and 10th Avenue.
Officers say a man was driving a homemade motorcycle east on Houston when he lost control and was thrown from it.
He was taken to Adventist Health Hanford, where he died.
Officers say the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
They are still investigating if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
