FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A shooting outside a Fresno business has led to a murder arrest weeks later, police said.

Police responded to the Sun Stereo Warehouse at 736 Fulton St. regarding a shooting victim on Friday, March 20th, around 11:15 p.m.

When they arrived, officers found 38-year-old Meharie Kidane suffering from gunshot wounds.

Kidane was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

Homicide detectives determined that several individuals were at the location for a gathering and were escorted outside the venue after an altercation inside.

Detectives identified 19-year-old Kamyah Bolden as the person responsible for Kidane’s death.

Members of the Fresno Police Department Tactical Team and officers assigned to the citywide Violent Crime Suppression Operation arrested Bolden on Wednesday, April 9th.

Bolden was booked into the Fresno County Jail for murder.
