LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A possible murder suspect is leading Los Angeles police on a high-speed chase on Monday evening.
The chase started in the San Fernando Valley when officers spotted a vehicle wanted in connection to an attempted murder. Officers later began referring to the suspect as a murder suspect on police radio.
The driver led officers through the San Fernando Valley and past Dodger Stadium during Game 3 of the World Series before the chase continued into the San Gabriel Valley.
The back right tire of the driver’s white Kia appeared to be blown out. The suspect had difficulty maintaining control of the vehicle sometimes, fishtailing and weaving in between lanes.
At one point, the driver bounced off the center divider on the 60 Freeway. The driver later made a U-turn, driving westbound in the eastbound lanes. After briefly traveling the wrong direction, the driver turned back around, and the chase continued.
