Every year, thousands of people join a massive bar crawl throughout the city, donning their spookiest, most creative costumes as they hop from bar to bar. The festival pub crawl is called Crawloween, and for 2025, it offered four nights of festive fun. The crawl kicked off last weekend on October 25 and 26 and will continue on Halloween night, Friday, October 31. The 4-day pub crawl’s grand finale is on Saturday, November 1st, and it will also celebrate Dia de los Muertos.

The Halloween bar crawl spans multiple neighborhoods in the city, including the Marina, Polk, Cow Hollow, Russian Hill, Lower Nob Hill, and Union Square. The crawl is the largest Halloween event in San Francisco, and organizers expect 25,000 people to participate this year. Some participating bars include Shanghai Kelly’s, Persona, Decoadance, Jaxson, Westwood, Palm House, and more.

Tickets for the bar crawl start at $12, and they will get you free entry to all the participating bars and drink specials. Many of the bars are within walking distance of each other, so you can easily move from one pub to the next. Plus, you can ride the Crawloween party bus to travel between neighborhoods throughout the night.

The event will run from 6 pm to 11 pm on Friday, October 31, and from 4 pm to 10 pm on Saturday, November 1. Check-in locations to get your wristband, which grants you free entry and drink specials, are Mayes Oyster House or Rick & Roxy’s. The event is organized by Crawl SF, which is responsible for numerous other bar crawls in San Francisco, including the annual St. Patrick’s Day event.
