Immaculate Heart High School students recently returned from a comprehensive college tour across Northern California. The multi-day experience offered students an in-depth look at a range of campuses, academic environments, and student life opportunities as they begin to envision their futures beyond Immaculate Heart.
Throughout the tour, students visited a variety of institutions, including Stanford University, University of California, Davis, University of California, Berkeley, Saint Mary’s College of California, University of San Francisco, Santa Clara University, California State University, Monterey Bay, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and University of California, Santa Barbara, among others along the way.
A highlight of the trip was the opportunity for students to engage in personal campus tours and gain valuable insight from many recent Immaculate Heart alumnae studying on these campuses, providing an authentic glimpse into college life, offering firsthand perspectives, practical advice, and heartfelt encouragement.
“Our students benefited tremendously from seeing these campuses up close and hearing directly from alumnae who once walked the same halls at Immaculate Heart,” said Abby McCrate, IH’s Academic and College Counselor. “These experiences help demystify the college process and empower our students to imagine themselves in these spaces with confidence.”
The tour reflects Immaculate Heart’s commitment to guiding students through every stage of their academic journey, fostering confidence and a sense of purpose as they prepare for their next chapter as women of great heart and right conscience.
