Bass also reports that Sykes has received interest from Oklahoma, Washington, Oklahoma State, Gonzaga, Indiana, and Virginia Tech.

Sykes put together an outstanding freshman season, earning Second Team All-Big West honors while also being named the conference Freshman of the Year. He averaged 19.4 points per game, shooting 47.3% from the field and 38.7% from three-point range.

His scoring production ranked sixth among all NCAA freshmen this season, a clear indicator of his offensive impact right away at the college level.

According to On3, Sykes is rated as a 4-star transfer prospect, ranked as the No. 47 overall player in the portal and the No. 12 shooting guard.

With three years of eligibility remaining, Sykes is one of the more intriguing long-term options currently available in the portal.
