The organic retailer will serve coffee, smoothies and grab-and-go meals at the museum beginning April 19 for members and May 4 for the public.
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is partnering with Erewhon to introduce a seasonal café as the museum prepares to debut its new David Geffen Galleries.
The café will open on April 19 for LACMA members attending preview events and will open to the public on May 4. The partnership brings the Southern California grocery and café brand into the museum for the first time and will operate through the summer.
Visitors can expect several of Erewhon’s signature offerings, including organic coffee and matcha, fresh pastries, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and a selection of grab-and-go meals and organic snacks.
Located in the northeast pavilion on the W.M. Keck Plaza, the café will include indoor and outdoor seating overlooking Three Quintains (Hello Girls), the fountain sculpture by Alexander Calder.

The collaboration represents Erewhon’s first museum partnership.

Erewhon at LACMA will operate during museum hours. Two additional dining options, a restaurant and a wine bar, are expected to open later this year.
