Sister Roma, Honey Mahogany host SF LGBT Center’s annual Soirée

Drag, dinner and a packed dance floor set the stage for one of the SF LGBT Center’s biggest nights of the year. 

For 24 years, the Center has provided essential support to community members, from youth services at its drop-in center to assisting seniors with securing housing. Its annual Soirée is the organization’s primary fundraiser to help sustain that work.

This year, the Center Soirée, hosted by local drag performers and activists Sister Roma and Honey Mahogany, takes place at City View at the Metreon on Saturday, April 18. The evening will include dinner, performances and a late-night afterparty. 

Entertainment will directed by legendary drag mother Juanita More, with DJ LadyRyan spinning tunes on the dancefloor. 

A live auction, led by Michael Tate, will support the Center’s initiatives focused on economic development, mental health and queer art programming. 

The night offers a chance to support the Center while connecting with others engaged in its work. With a lineup led by some of the city’s most visible drag figures, it’s sure to be memorable.
