A San Francisco family is demanding answers after their 2-year-old son died after a fall at an in-home daycare in the South of Market neighborhood.
According to an incident report from the daycare owner, Ethan Sandoval was climbing a wooden toy when he fell and hit the back of his head. The report says he was found unconscious and taken to a hospital, where he died four days later.
In the incident report sent to Social Services, the daycare owner wrote that they will put padding under the structure to help prevent future accidents.
Both Social Services and San Francisco police are investigating the tragic death.
