FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — One person is injured after a golf cart and a car collided on Highway 168 in Fresno County on Monday evening.
The California Highway Patrol says the golf cart was driving west on Highway 168 with no lights on.
A Mercedes was also westbound on the 168 and did not see the golf cart as it approached from behind. That’s when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the golf cart was ejected onto the road.
They were taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
The investigation is still ongoing.
