As the community heads outdoors to enjoy the weather it is important to take precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
Bites from insects like mosquitos can cause illnesses like West Nile Virus, which can cause flu-like symptoms according to the CDC.
There are simple ways to protect yourself and your loved ones from bites this season.
