A man was hit on the head and robbed of his high-end watch at gunpoint early Tuesday morning on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
The victim was in the Berri’s Pizza parking lot at about 3 a.m. when a man approached and pulled out a gun, the LAPD told NBC4 Investigates. The man ran, but was tackled and struck on the head before the attacker demanded his watch, police said.

The victim told police that the stolen watch, a Swiss-made Vacheron Constantin, is valued at $77,000.
