19-year-old hospitalized after shooting in West Sacramento, police say

(FOX40.COM) — A 19-year-old was hospitalized after an overnight shooting at a house party, according to the West Sacramento Police Department.

WSPD said officers responded to reports of a shooting Sunday just after midnight in the 800 block of Casselman Drive.

Police arrived to find a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound at what appeared to be a house party.

He was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and is expected to be OK, WSPD said.

The investigation is ongoing.
