FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — CAL FIRE is responding to a wildfire west of Interstate 5 near the Panoche Hills South Wilderness Study Area in Fresno County.
Authorities say the Tumey Fire is at 120 acres and can potentially grow to 300 acres.
The Tumey Gun Range has been evacuated by the Fresno Sheriff’s Department.
The Tumey Recreational Area is closed.
I-5 is still open to drivers.
