BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Library is inviting young readers to step back in time and learn about the iconic Bakersfield Sound that helped shape the country music industry.
Bakersfield Sound Storytimes will be hosted every Tuesday through the month of May.
The story time will help educate kids age 6 to 12 about music history in Kern County with a reading by a local author.
The first story time is taking place this Tuesday, April 21, at Beale Memorial Library starting at 4:30 p.m.
