A standoff between the Sacramento SWAT team and a person police say was armed ended peacefully just before 5:30 a.m. Monday.The standoff began around 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the corner of 13th Avenue and Franklin Boulevard and lasted all night and through the early morning hours.The Sacramento Police Department said officers originally responded to a domestic violence call at the home, and when they arrived, the man refused to come out and barricaded himself inside.The Sacramento SWAT team spent the night trying to convince that person to surrender, using various tactics to try to get him to come out. Those tactics included commands over loudspeakers to an armored SWAT vehicle, to drones overhead, a robot on the ground, and the deployment of tear gas and a flash-bang.Police say another person in this situation did manage to get out of the home with some non-life-threatening injuries.The police department did not say what charges the person they detained will face.See news happening? A standoff between the Sacramento SWAT team and a person police say was armed ended peacefully just before 5:30 a.m. Monday.

The standoff began around 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the corner of 13th Avenue and Franklin Boulevard and lasted all night and through the early morning hours.
