HOMESTEAD, Fla. (CBS12) — Two people were injured Saturday night when an allegedly intoxicated woman opened fire at a South Florida shopping plaza parking lot.
Officers with the Homestead Police Department say they responded to a parking lot on the 2400 block of Northeast 10th Court around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday to reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, police told CBS Miami they located two victims suffering gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to the hospital and are reportedly in stable condition.
The suspect, 34-year-old Samantha Renee Morales, was arrested at the scene for counts of aggravated battery and assault with a firearm and use of a firearm while impaired by alcohol.
