Silicon Valley Pizza Week has become Bay Area Pizza Week, and the promotion runs from Wednesday, April 22, through Sunday, May 3, with special pizza creations and deals at restaurants from Santa Cruz to Santa Rosa.
More than 75 restaurant locations are taking part in the promotion sponsored by Metro Newspapers, including Mary’s Pizza Shack, NY Pie Pizzeria and Rosso Pizzeri and Wine Bar in Santa Rosa.
Among the offerings:
— At Parktown Pizza in Milpitas, San Jose, Morgan Hill and Pleasanton, take $10 off the price of any medium or large pizza.
— At Square Pie Guys in Walnut Creek, Campbell and Palo Alto, the Paneer Tikka-ish is priced at $23.
— At Bibo’s New York Pizza in San Jose and Morgan Hill, the special creation is a Pastrami Reuben Pizza, extra-large size, for $30.
— At Upper Crust Pizza & Pasta in Soquel, Santa Cruz and San Francisco, celebrate the restaurant’s 47th anniversary with a special: A two-topping, thick-crust Sicilian Square Pizza (12 slices), plus garden or Caesar salad and any dessert for $47.
— At Centonove Los Gatos, diners can purchase a 12-inch Calabrese Pizza for $24 and a 12-inch Capricciosa (vegetarian) for $26.
— At Tandoori Pizza in Fremont, Sunnyvale, San Jose and Richmond, get a free order of garlic sticks with cheese with the purchase of any large pizza.
— At East End Gastropub in Capitola, there are two special creations for this promotion: Scampi Pizza for $22 and Taco Pie for $20.
— At Plank in Oakland, the special creation is a Carne Asada Pizza for $18.
— At Craving Pizza in San Jose, save on small cheese or pepperoni pizzas. They are priced at $10.95 for this promotion.
— At Gumba’s Italian Restaurant in Sunnyvale, find savings on Fig & Prosciutto Pizzas and a new creation, a 15-inch-long Stromboli Roll with meats, mushrooms and cheese, for $23.
