Mother’s Day is approaching, and while we may be a few weeks away from the May 10 celebration, now is the time to grab reservations, especially in bustling Downtown Los Angeles.

This year, several DTLA establishments are celebrating Mother’s Day in style, either with unique menus or by offering views alongside brunch. Whether your mom prefers a sprawling buffet or global flavors, Downtown has it. Here are five go-to DTLA restaurants to celebrate Mother’s Day at this May 10.

The Ritz-Carlton

Celebrate Mother’s Day at The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, at L.A. Live. Hosted at Sendero on the 24th floor, this buffet comes with more than just food. It includes sweeping views of Downtown Los Angeles alongside a culinary journey crafted by the hotel’s team.

The brunch includes access to a farmer’s market inspired salad stand, raw bar, California cheese and charcuterie, carving stations, lunch entrées, dim sum and breakfast classics such as omelets and waffles. There are also going to be various sweets and freshly baked goods, as well as a kid-friendly spread. Cocktails and mimosa trays are available for additional cost.

Following brunch, the celebrated mothers are invited to enjoy an interactive spa moment courtesy of The Ritz Carlton Spa.

The brunch is accepting reservations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pricing is $150 per person, or $50 for children aged 12 and under, plus local taxes and a 20% service charge. A 90-minute dining limit will be enforced. Hotel valet parking available at $20 for the first three hours and $20 for each additional hour.

Girl & the Goat

This Arts District hotspot brings bold, global flavors to a family-style brunch service. Every Sunday, it boasts a brunch with shareable favorites and handcrafted cocktails perfect for Mother’s Day.

The brunch menu includes favorites like the coconut sticky rice yogurt, potato crepe, shrimp rice rice omelet, goat curry omelet, house maple sausage and short rib chilaquiles.

Located within the Hauser & Wirth art complex, Manuela offers a rustic-chic setting with an emphasis on “farm-to-table” southern influences. It “unites chef, farmer and artist to create an authentic and original dining experience,” its website says.

For Mother’s Day, Manuela is extending its brunch service, with seating from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The brunch menu features “small & to share” items like cream biscuits, cast iron cornbread, beignets and barbequed oysters, as well as a variety of salads. It brunch entrees include almond frangipane French toast, popover benedict, hanger steak and grilled yellowtail.

Following brunch, it will host a floral arranging workshop from 2 to 3 p.m. in its garden. Tickets for the class are $45 per person, and it is hosted by Flowers for Your Love.

City Club LA

This private club opens its doors for a ticketed Mother’s Day event on the 51st floor of the City National Tower. First seating is from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and second seating is from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The afternoon includes live music, photo opportunities and a “special surprise for all the lovely moms.”

The penthouse dining room will feature a buffet and expertly crafted drinks, alongside the view. There are made-to-omelets, a carving station, a pasta station, dessert bar, kid’s activity table and bottomless mimosas planned for the Mother’s Day celebration.

Prices start at $85 for adults and $35 for children ages 4 to 12, no fees included. Toddlers under age 4 eat free.

The Mother’s Day brunch menu is a two-course meal for $85 a person. Starters include the yellowfin tuna tartare, burrata and tomato salad, grilled octopus, ricotta toast and lemon chitarra. The entrees include oyster mushroom chilaquiles, crab frittata, fried chicken, pork belly and egg sandwich and hanger steak. Desserts can be purchased for additional costs, including strawberries and cream ($14), chocolate semifreddo ($14) and a cheese plate ($18). Drinks are not included.
