The Federal Bureau of Investigation was investigating a robbery that occurred at a Wells Fargo Bank in Oakland on Monday, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery just after 2:30 p.m. on the 100 block of 40th Street, where a Wells Fargo Bank is located near Piedmont Avenue, an Oakland police spokesperson said.
Police wrote down the initial report and handed the investigation over to the FBI, the spokesperson said.
No further details about the incident were immediately available.
