BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The city of Bakersfield is set to host a meeting Tuesday evening to give the public a sneak peek into the new park coming to southwest Bakersfield.
The Antongiovanni Park update meeting is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. April 21 at Miller Elementary School at 7345 Mountain Ridge Dr.
The park will be in Bakersfield’s Ward 7 adjacent to Miller Elementary School off Mountain Ridge Drive, according to city officials.

The Bakersfield City Council approved the park’s development in June 2024.
Plans for the park at the time included a splash pad, picnic areas, a playground, restrooms, a fitness area and a dog park.
