Halloween is almost here, and this year the holiday happens to land on a Friday, which means you can expect an exciting weekend filled with Halloween parties and events. From massive bar crawls to chic parties, you can expect plenty of fun plans perfect for showing off your costume. Check out some of our recommendations below:
Crawloween

Crawloween is the largest Halloween event in San Francisco, featuring thousands of attendees every year. The bar crawl spans multiple neighborhoods, including Polk, Lower Nob Hill, and The Marina, with dozens of bars included in the fun. The crawl is Friday, October 31, from 6 to 11 pm, and Saturday, November 1, from 4 to 10 pm, with tickets starting at $12.

The Legion of Honor is celebrating Halloween with an after-hours party featuring an organ concert from Grammy-winning musician Jonathan Dimmock, DJs, and cocktails. Organizers encourage guests to wear their most creative, art-inspired costumes. The party is on Thursday, October 30, from 6 to 10 pm, and tickets start at $35.
Nightmare on Front Street

The Front Street entertainment zone is hosting a free block party on Friday, October 31, from 2 to 10 pm. You can expect drinks, live music, and a costume contest. The event is free, and you do not need a ticket to enter.

The 21st Guardsman Halloween Party is on Friday, October 31, starting at 9 pm at the Brixton. You can expect live DJs, a dance floor, drink specials, and even prizes for the best costumes.
Ghost palace
The Palace of Fine Arts is hosting Ghost Palace, with Non Plus Ultra+ and Electroluxx this Halloween. The party will have multiple stages with various DJs, silent disco areas, a foam pit, muralists painting live, and more. You can also expect food trucks and art cars during the party. The party starts at 9 pm and runs until 5 am, and tickets start at $188.07 with fees. Learn more and find tickets here.
