BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified a man who died in a crash in Rosamond as 62-year-old Manuel Milton Rand.

The CHP’s website said on April 15, 2026, at around 2:45 p.m., there was a report of a van that hydroplaned into an open field and rolled on West Rosamond Boulevard, near 170th Street W.

The coroner’s report said Rand was a driver of the vehicle. He died at the scene from his injuries.
