BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Law enforcement is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash in the area of North Chester Avenue and Wilson Avenue on Thursday night, according to our Eyewitness News crew.
Reports came in around 10 p.m. of a pedestrian who was struck in the area. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
A tarp was seen covering a body in the road by our news crew.
The area is blocked off. Avoid the area, if possible.
Kern County deputies, CHP and KCFD personnel are in the area.
